I hate this so much.
Yes forgiveness and all that is and has been one of the major themes of the story but Obito has killed thousands and caused the deaths of tens of thousands of people. Like ten minutes ago he was gleefully raining stakes onto the shinobi army, decimating them. It's fine to not want to straight up kill him but at least incapacitate him completely by sealing him or his chakra or just knock him out and remove these emotionally compromised assholes from around him.

At this point Madara deserves to win. Just win and let these people dream about being competent.

Obito was literally about to revive all of those people he managed to kill on the battlefield before Black Zetsu took over

I admit I didn't consider that when I wrote that comment but that's too little too late. We don't know the exact limits of that technique but judging by Nagato, at best he would have revived the people he killed in the recently in the vicinity. I wonder if it would even revive the people at HQ.
What about the 40k shinobi that died on the first day of the war Obito started? Not to mention how he has been operating in the shadows and causing tragedies for 16+ years.
